Had a birthday meal for 6 on 22nd Dec which is always difficult being so close to Christmas. The limited Italian menu supplemented by other meals suited us well and food quality was very good. We were also very well look after by Leila. The environment was nice and relaxing although the table was perhaps a little tight for 6 people. Altogether, a thoroughly enjoyable evening and will be back.

The Tipperary was recommended to us by friends and we were so pleased we decided to go. Lovely pub/restaurant staff very helpful and the food was delicious. Will certainly be going again.

Relaxed atmosphere but with very efficient and friendly service. Good food, well presented. Italian food in a country pub setting is a great find. We will return.

Excellent, authentic Italian cuisine in cosy and quiet surroundings, despite being just pre-Christmas. Attentive staff, good value for money, and easily booked. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic as always. Lovely staff, service and food . However the restaurant was too cold to take my coat off!

Lovely homely atmosphere.Food was plentiful and expertly cooked. Staff were swift and courteous. The bar has an excellent choice of quality ales for the discerning ale drinker.

Will be back very soon!

We went for Sunday lunch without a booking and had a really good meal. The fresh calamari actually was fresh rather than frozen and not at all rubbery. Roast beef dinner portions were generous and delicious. Will definitely be back.

Good Food

Chose the Tipperary inn for a birthday meal for 6. There is a limited Italian menu and a selection of other meals. All the food was very good quality and well prepared. I found the home made Lasagne very good. Décor was good and we were very well looked after by our waitress Leila. The starters were very nice although could have been a little bigger as could the table which was a touch on the tight side for 6. Overall a thoroughly nice meal and evening and we will certainly be going back.

Great experience

Christmas Eve and requiring nourishment after a hard day of Christmas gift wrapping we visited The Tipperary Inn at 5pm. Even though the front of house and kitchen staff had no doubt had a busy day, the welcome was warm, friendly and service truly faultless. We chose from the Xmas menu, my wife having smoked salmon as a starter and for me a duck roll. Both were beautifully presented with taste matching the look of both plates. For mains, I chose a sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce that was done exactly as I requested, melted in the mouth and tasted delicious. My wife's main course was sea bass and again, the taste very much to her liking. To drink we chose a glass of Chilean Merlot (large size for £5.50) and a pint of Tribute at only £3.20! They also had Purity Mad Goose and Doombar for real ale enthusiasts like me. We had no room for puddings but there was a good selection for those with a sweet tooth and spare room in their tummies! All in all, a most enjoyable and reasonably priced meal (£40.60 total bill price) in a lovely country pub. Well worth a visit if you're local to Balsall Common and Kenilworth or just visiting the area.

Had lunch with a few friends. Main course was great. Pudding (Christmas) was a bit dry and not very warm. Service very good and staff friendly. Good choice of food on the menu. Nice venue; been here several times. Slightly on the cool side so wear a jumper! Reasonable value for money overall.

This restaurant was FULL on the day we went for my wife's birthday. They were BRILLIANT and the food was delivered without a long wait. Layla, the waitress, was marvellously helpful and so we're all the staff. The musical entertainment was excellent. Great Value. Will definitely book again.

I can only talk about the great sunday roast we had and friendly staff. Fit us in at last minute and will definitely revisit to see the usual menu. Tiramisu great as was the brownie..only thing that could be improved is REAL whipped cream instead of canned.
